AI Confidence Settings

Configure how Neuriq’s AI handles uncertain categorizations.

What is Confidence?

When you dump something, Neuriq’s AI analyzes it and assigns a confidence score to its categorization.

  • High confidence (85%+): “Meeting with Sarah tomorrow at 3pm” → clearly an event
  • Medium confidence (60-85%): “Maybe call the bank sometime” → probably a task
  • Low confidence (<60%): “Interesting thought about productivity” → could be anything

Confidence Threshold

The confidence threshold determines when items go directly to your brain vs. your Inbox for review.

Auto-save (High threshold)

Items with high confidence are saved automatically.

Pros:

  • Less review work
  • Faster workflow

Cons:

  • Occasional miscategorization

Review all (Low threshold)

All items go to your Inbox for review.

Pros:

  • Maximum control
  • No surprises

Cons:

  • More manual work
  • Slower workflow

Adjusting the Threshold

  1. Go to Settings → AI & Brain
  2. Find “Confidence Threshold”
  3. Adjust the slider (default: 85%)

Learning

Over time, Neuriq learns from your corrections. If you frequently change a certain type of categorization, the AI adapts.
